Caven started doing business in 1996 providing turn-key solutions to Physical and Material Testing needs for North American OEM & Tier 1 & 2 suppliers. We are capable of setting up a complete testing laboratory from design to final run-off including training as to the proper usage of equipment and testing procedures.

However with globalization and a tendency towards lean manufacturing along with just-in-time receiving Caven has felt a strategic need to provide more services then setting up a laboratory.

In 2001 GDN Technologies came into being and started serving the PM industry with a lubricant specially designed to take this industry from standard density products to High Density products using standard manufacturing processes.

In 2005 Caven started global sourcing and started to supply parts to OE manufacturers in Automotive Industry though strategic partnership with companies in other countries, companies who are known in their fields and are TS certified.

Since 2010 Caven has started machining in Canada specially machining PM parts. We are presently spaciallizing in machining Powder Metal Hubs for automotive industry. At present Caven is up to a Tier II Supplier to a few automotive companies.
